Nice and relaxing town.
Nice and relaxing town. We went in March so there were not many tourists. We enjoyed walks on the town's colonade and surrounding parks full of healing springs. They are good for multiple diseases. We enjoyed wellness that our hotel offered, massages and mud baths. It was nice to relax and de-stress. There are many historical sights in the area and surrounding villages and towns. Cheb town and Loket town are in driving distance with castles and interesting history.

They have car veteran contest each year here at the beginning of May. That was great. Otherwise it is flat area, great for strollers. Good options for trip (Cheb, Soos, Germany...), nice historical buildings.

Beautiful city, most of it renovated and offering great walks and views + of course spa procedures. We were there in a very quiet period so would like to come back to see the city "living" when in normal season. But as I was told - this is till quiet place so if you are looking for such place with great architecture I highly recommend Frantiskovy Lazne.

Frantiskovy Lazne is a nice destination for everyone.
Frantiskovy Lazne is a nice destination for everyone. I was there with my two kids (7and10) and we also took our grandma with (64). Lots of nature walks, like the beautiful National Nature Reserve SOOS, The nature trail Kladska, Lazne Kynzvart (Castle Kynzvart and Ruin Kynzvart), town Cheb, Lookout Tower Zelena hora close to Cheb, FUN ARENA CHEB (outdoor and indoor go-carts and jump arena - top for the kids) and also the Luisenburg Rock Labyrinth in Germany...and many many more stuff to do....

The town is lovely -- not too big like Karlovy Vary and not too small like Konstantinovy Lazne. The layout is charming. I like the fact that it's mostly flat, so it's easy to walk around. There is a lovely lake and extinct volcano nearby -- lovely hikes.OctaviaCzech Republic

Shop is few hundred meters from the place. Parking is free outside of the garden. It is farther from the spa, but it is nice walk and we knew that. It can be great for a trip to Amerika pond and zoo, because the walking trail (or bicycle) goes almost around the apartment and then you can go by the "train" on road back to the spa and stay there rest of the day for example.MvekCzech Republic

The location was great and right in the middle of the park. The big Aquaforum swimming park was just across the street, though it seemed all of the hotels send people there, as it was packed. Meals are off a daily menu with two choices for appetizer, three choices for main course, and dessert. But the location is everything if you are going to the Aquaforum - whose rooms are three times the price of Hotel Francis. Some spa treatments are available on request in the hotel, but the Aquaforum has dozens. I will stay here again.

Our room was cleaned daily, coffee, tea and water replenished daily. Excellent breakfast. We chose this hotel for the spa facility which we truly loved. Very friendly staff.
